Touhou: Gensokyo Forgotten Stories A long time ago, I told someone I would make a theme for Yuuka Kazami... and then I completely forgot about it. Four months went by before I finally remembered. But now it's done! I hope you enjoy it. And if you don't, that's okay too. To be honest, I spent many hours working on this theme, and the software I use to make music kept crashing over and over again. But hey... I finally did it. I actually finished it, haha. I really hope you like it! A bit of story context: Throughout the game’s story, we are told about the deity Ministria, the mistress of life and death. She does not belong to Gensokyo or the world of Touhou—she comes from a different world. Years ago, she was drawn into Gensokyo. Ministria is not an evil deity, but her presence distorts the minds of those who see her. Her presence causes chaos and disasters, and it also generates malicious thoughts. (Note: This is a completely original story. It has no connection to Touhou’s official canon and will not affect anything already established, which allows me some freedom when creating a completely new story for my fangame.) Because of her presence, the first “Ihen” incidents began. However, Kanako, along with the former Lunarian princess Kaguya Houraisan and Chang’e, sealed Ministria to prevent further chaos. Throughout the game, the so-called “140 Years,” or the “Black Era,” will be explained. The Black Era was the largest event in Gensokyo’s history. Many participated in the sacred sealing event known as the “Stone of God,” including the Scarlet family, the Hakurei, the Taoists, and the Moriya. (For now, that’s all I can share.) I hope you like the themes—I really hope you do. the video game is still in development. these are the battle themes of my fangame Touhou: Gensokyo Forgotten Stories. Someday I’ll start working seriously on the game, and as you’ve probably already noticed, it will be a game with duo battles or even battles against three bosses at once. It’s going to be awesome—at least I hope so lol. I don’t have the story completely clear yet, but I hope it turns out to be a really good one. For now, I haven’t done anything besides the OST, so maybe someday I’ll work on a demo.
