Woodturning | Mahogany Bowl - Bubble Wrap Painting Technique

I had been wondering if a) it was possible to use Bubble Wrap to paint with, b) what would it look like. This project has let me find out the answers to both those questions. I turned a bowl from a piece of Mahogany, with a layer of ebonising lacquer, then applied iridescent paints to squares of Bubble Wrap and decorated both the inside and outside of the bowl. I really think it created a cool cosmic type effect.
