Day 6 - San Francisco ☀️ Alcatraz, Pier 39, Fishermans Wharf, Cable Cars & sunset at Golden Gate 🌉

Welcome to Day 6 of our road trip! Today, we get to explore the city of San Francisco! 🌁 We knew when booking this trip one day in San Francisco would not be enough so get ready for a day that’s jam packed! We started the day early to walk down the waterfront on our way to catch the ferry across to Alcatraz Island ⛓️This was an amazing experience for us and definitely one we recommend if you are visiting! We bought our tickets online beforehand and it cost around £43 each. We then saw the famous Sealions at Pier 39 🦭 We strolled along Fishermans Wharf and got bread bowls at Boudin Bakery 🍞 We got to try the cable cars around the city which was a MUST do. Hanging off the side going around the city is such a fun experience and a great way to see it (and is an ab workout) 🚃 We had to get a Ghirardelli in the original Ghirardelli Square, though be prepared to take out a new mortgage 🍌🍨 We had the BEST time watching the sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 we sat on a pier and although it was freezing, it was a highlight experience for us ❤️ We finished the day off with a cheeky In-N-Out 🍔 We were sceptical about San Francisco after hearing a lot about the crime rate etc, but we can safely say we loved it and will definitely be going back one day ❤️ We filmed this on the 13th April 2026.
