Floor surface requirements: Level differences of no more than 1.5-2 mm per 2 running meters. Choose the right underlay for quartz vinyl (SPC). The substrate thickness should be no more than 1.5 mm. The EvoHeat heating mat is installed directly on the existing screed, after laying an underlayment! Installation is possible without a floor temperature sensor, and the heating mat itself is controlled by a thermostat with a built-in air sensor. Preparatory work: During rough electrical work: 1. Select a location for the wall box and run a separate cable from the apartment panel to the wall box for subsequent thermostat installation. 2. Make a groove in the wall and install a corrugated conduit in this groove (this corrugated conduit is needed to run the power cable from the underfloor heating). 3. Complete painting. 4. After painting, lay out the mat and make a small recess in the floor so that the connection between the power cable and the heating core does not protrude above floor level. 5. Pull the cable from the heating mat through the corrugated conduit to the wall box for the thermostat. There are some installation restrictions for this option. Underfloor heating: 1. Not suitable for quartz vinyl with an integrated underlayment. 2. If you use a thermostat without a temperature limiter, you will need to install a floor temperature sensor. There are no other "EvoHeat" underfloor heating systems on the market that are compatible with quartz vinyl, either in design or performance!
