Looking for the Sugarcane Mill in Naranjos, Veracruz A few years ago I found a mill near Tantima and Tamalin, and I loved it!! I know they do it around this time of year, so I decided to investigate where and when the milling takes place to extract sugarcane water (or fresh water), chicle (chewing gum), piloncillo (unrefined cane sugar), and the ritual they perform to give thanks to the earth.
