How to Remove and Replace Door Actuator Mercedes W163 ML230 ML270 ML320 ML350 ML400 ML430 ML500 ► Our Website for Tools, Parts and more Videos: http://mechaniclifestyle.com We took this video to show you how to remove and replace the door lock actuator on a Mercedes W163. This is the first generation M- Class. You can purchase a brand new one for about $200 on eBay OEM. Sometimes the problem is internal sometimes it is an external spring. In our case it was internal so basically it is not fixable. Mercedes Dealers charge hundred of $$$$$ to replace it. It is not the easiest procedure but hopefully the video will help you fix the problem. If your door cannot be locked or unlocked this should fix the problem. This procedure should work on the pre-facelift and after the facelift models.
