Motion capture from video for character animation at home is provided by Plask. Motion Capture or Mocap technology is an excellent tool for creating fast and realistic character animation. With Mocap, you don't have to painstakingly create keys in animated projects. Plask is a free platform, currently in beta, that captures motion from videos and redirects them to 3D characters. You can record video from your webcam or phone. Then upload it to Plask, which will automatically apply Motion Capture and extract the frames from the video into a separate file.
