What a wonderful experience! As part of the Würzburg City Festival this year, there was a special steam train ride around Würzburg. The trip was actually supposed to go to Gemünden and then via Thüngen to Schweinfurt and back to Würzburg. Due to construction work on the route, an alternative route had to be taken. And so we first came from Geroldshausen to Lohr and then back to Würzburg. I paid 44 euros in second class for almost three hours of top entertainment and can say that it was really fun and a great experience. Thanks to the organizer and the friendly staff throughout! I'd love to come again! From there, trips with historic vehicles are constantly organized in Germany.
