Fehmarn im Herbst

At the end of October, we used our remaining vacation time to travel to the Baltic Sea again – this time to the island of Fehmarn. Our destination was Marienleuchte, a new, tranquil holiday resort that immediately welcomed us with its autumnal coastal atmosphere. For a week, we strolled along the beaches, occasionally tossing a stone into the Baltic Sea, and simply let ourselves be carried away by the sound of the waves. A particularly special moment of this trip was our day at the Baltic Sea sluice gate: The surf was more impressive than ever before. The Baltic Sea displayed a powerful, turbulent mood unlike anything we had ever experienced – a magnificent natural spectacle and an unforgettable highlight of our autumn week.
