Emerson TPX 55 Sanyo transistor radio repair noisy controls power switch defect battery compartment
Quick repairs on an older transistor Emerson TPX-55 multiband radio. Power switch did not latch, noisy sliding controls, sticky selector buttons, corrosion in the battery compartment. FM did not align to the dial, so the oscillator was moved to better track the dial. Looks like the radio was probably made by Sanyo.
