Fun Day Fishing at Irvine Lake

We’re back at Irvine Lake on a Friday, meeting up with a couple of our friends — including Mark and Paul — who we haven’t seen since the end of last trout‑stocking season. Now that trout season is in full swing, we’re reuniting and picking up right where we left off. This week is Irvine Lake’s second trout stocking of the season, so we’re hoping to catch some fish today. The lake was full of fish, and we were getting bites left and right, though some slipped off or broke away. We all had our moments of disappointment when a fish got loose, but that’s part of the fun. Shake it off, cast again, and chances are you’ll hook another. In the end, no one in our group went home empty‑handed. Each of us brought at least one fish back.”
