In North Korea, mountains were "managed," and trees were "state property." So, you couldn't climb them, touch them, or take anything away. But... the moment we entered the mountains of South Korea, we were all speechless. 🌲 "There are so many trees...?" 🎋 "If it were North Korea, they would have already been cut down..." 🎃 "Are pumpkins allowed to grow this big?!" In this vlog, we visit a rural South Korean farm where a North Korean defector farms herself. We harvest green onions, pumpkins, peppers, perilla seeds, and other crops. We honestly compare the differences in farming methods and attitudes toward nature between North Korea and South Korea, amidst laughter and admiration. It's a simple day with my North Korean defector friends, but just seeing nature makes me realize why South Korea is the land of opportunity...
