Ridetech's always had a thing for making muscle cars handle on top of outputting big power. Lately we've been tackling the Fox Body platform and are pleased to share our double wishbone SLA front suspension system and bolt-in rear IRS cradle. The bolt-in SLA (Short-Long-Arm) suspension system replaces the stock front McPherson strut design with a billet aluminum upper control arm, tubular lower arm and spindles with S550 Mustang hubs. The factory strut design offers very little camber gain and poor overall geometry. This design greatly improves negative camber gain, which positions the tire perpendicular to the pavement through the corners without the need for excessive static camber and overly stiff spring rates. Caster, roll center and Ackerman angles were also optimized. Compatible with either Ridetech Coil-Overs or Shockwave air suspension (sold separately). Out back our bolt-in IRS conversion replaces the factory stick axle. Specifically designed for the 1979-1993 Fox Body Mustang, it provides maximum performance, high strength and OE reliability utilizing 2015-2023 Mustang driveline/brake components. Now the rear of the car can enjoy a preferred camber curve in the back as with the front, optimized geometry through changes with antisquat, low roll center, and zero bumpsteer. #fordmustang #foxbodymustang #foxbody #foxbodynation #mustanggt #ponycar
