River Mermaid illustration - watercolor speed painting

A lot of mermaids lately! In this video I recorded myself painting two river mermaids for "Deschutes River Mermaids" in Bend, Oregon. Materials used: • Winsor & Newton series 7 brushes • Daniel Smith watercolors • M.Graham watercolors and gouache • Gelly Roll gel pen in white • Fluid 140lb. watercolor paper, hot press (I don't really like this paper after using it twice =\ I should have tried the 100% cotton) • Faber-Castell PITT artist pen, xs • Micron 005 • Faber-Castell and koh-i-noor colored pencils Thank you for watching!
