ASUS RT-BE58 Go Wi-Fi 7 Travel Router – Real-World Test & Honest Thoughts

In this video, I take a look at the ASUS RT-BE58 Go Wi-Fi 7 travel router and share my honest thoughts after using it on the road. ASUS did send it out for review, but they didn’t see this video beforehand and my opinions are entirely my own. I go over why travel routers are useful for security, convenience, and on-site production, then walk through the RT-BE58 Go’s design, Wi-Fi 7 performance, ports, and the customizable multi-function button. I also show the web admin interface, including network setup, parental controls, VPN Fusion, VLAN options, and different operating modes. One thing that impressed me was how easily it handled captive portals—the smoothest experience I’ve had with a travel router so far. My biggest downside is that it reboots every time you connect to a new Wi-Fi network, which adds some unavoidable wait time. Overall, the RT-BE58 Go is a capable and future-proof travel router, especially for people who want Wi-Fi 7 and strong security while on the go. I’ll be comparing it directly with the GL.iNet BE3600 and TP-Link BE3600 in an upcoming video.
