I Built a Smoker from Scrap… Then Caught My Own Dinner

Built my own smoker from scrap LPG bottles… After a couple of days building this offset smoker, I hit the water chasing snapper and salmon, but the fishing was tough. No bites, no luck. So I pushed out through San Remo into Bass Strait in search of salmon. Found a massive workup and landed some solid fish. Back home, I prepped everything, fired up the smoker for the first time, and put it to work. Full process from build → catch → smoke. This one’s a proper mission, DIY build, fishing, and a clean feed at the end. If you’re into fishing, catch and cook, or building your own gear, this one’s for you. 👍 Like & subscribe for more fishing adventures, DIY projects, and family content. 📸 Our Adventures Cover: ✔️ Camping in Australia ✔️ Bush cooking and catch & cook meals ✔️ Fishing for fresh water fish, gummy sharks, snapper, whitting and Aussie salmon ✔️ Boating, off-grid camping & drone footage ✔️ Family-friendly outdoor fun 🔥 If you love real camping, fishing fails (and wins), and just getting stuck into nature with the fam — hit that subscribe button and join us! 👇 Let’s Connect! 👍 Like the video if you enjoy it 💬 Comment your favourite camping spot or fishing tip 🔔 Subscribe for more weekly outdoor adventures #campingAustralia #dronefishing #familyadventure #kiwisAdventure #catchandcook #bushcooking #outdoorvlog #fishingvlog #campingwithkids #Australiaoutdoors #campmeals #boatinglife #shallowinlet #lakeeildon #gummysharkfishing #campingfails
