#8 of 9 Here are 9 videos from a vacation to York, Maine and Boston, MA. All the videos are from Maine with the exception of the last video where We travel to our hotel in Boston from Kittery Trading Post, a favorite of mine. Trip began on Friday, June 4. We landed in Boston and drove to York, Maine. I did not use the dashcam driving from Boston to York, Maine because it was a Friday at 2:30 pm and the conversation in the car was mostly discussing detours with the early rush hour traffic. When we left the car rental lot, we had 63 miles to our destination. We traveled/crawled for an HOUR and GPS still had us 60 miles from our destination. Great. Note to self: Arrive earlier. We traveled from York to Boston on June 9. We returned our car to a rental parking lot near our hotel in Boston and either walked, or took the subway for the remaining time in Boston. Due to severe weather, our flight back home was delayed 36 hours. Thankfully, our hotel had enough rooms for us to return for a night AND we were able to find a flight for all of us to have a seat on the same flight! Anyway, even though we drove through York and Ogunquit a few times, I believe you will still enjoy driving these routes a few times. If not, skip it. Speed was increased when traveling on interstate or that weird road in Boston area. It looks like a local road, but there are no stop lights. Traffic and red lights were removed. Pedestrians crossing the road were removed. I’m not listing the roads we took to keep some sort of privacy to citizens. (Plus, I don’t want to figure out which way we went for each trip.) Don’t try to match road noise to video. I’ve replaced the audio since family members were in the car and our conversations have not been approved for public viewing.
