Frankfurt, Germany. 4x O&K Escalator ride at Zoo Stadtbahn Station - Part 1. (1985 type RT-HDLS)

We take a POV ride on 4x (out of 8) nice older O&K escalators at the Zoo station on Frankfurt’s stadtbahn / metro system. Originally complete with 12 of these 1985 O&K RTHD-LS escalators, there were just 8 left when I visited in late 2023. The 4 (2 at each end) going above ground were replaced by ThyssenKrupp a few years before. Its common here, many stations had the escalators upto the street replaced first due to extra wear and the affects of the weather 🌦️ etc… *The other 4 are HERE:    • Frankfurt, Germany. 5x Escalator ride at Z...   Unfortunately, while a couple of other stations on this same line also had similar escalators to begin with, they’d just been replaced by ThyssenKrupp. Since my 2023 visit, these have also been replaced now.
