The last community in America (most are gone)

In this video, I talk about the collapse of community in modern America and why so many people feel isolated, disconnected, and alone. Walkable neighborhoods have been replaced by endless roads and parking lots, kids spend less time outside, and many of the places where people used to naturally meet and build friendships have disappeared. I discuss the decline of third places, the rise of social isolation, and why it feels harder than ever to find a genuine sense of belonging. While many traditional communities have weakened, I argue that the furry fandom has managed to create something that much of modern society struggles to provide: friendship, shared identity, in person gatherings, and a strong support network. Is the furry community really one of the last surviving communities in America, or is there more to the story? That's what we're exploring in this video. If you've ever felt disconnected from the people around you, this conversation might resonate with you.
