Isuzu 2018 4WD 3litre turbo diesel. On our recent trip to Darwin towing the van we averaged 15 litres per 100km travelling at between 85 and 95kph over 12,000km. The car performed well and tows the caravan easily. The caravan weighs 2600kg fully loaded with full water tanks. The air bags do a great job at reducing the wavy ride when towing. Only needed 30 psi in the air bags to improve the ride. It’s also important to let the air bags back down to there minimum after removing the caravan from the car if you intend to drive around without the caravan attached. You can also purchase blue tooth caps and that screw onto the air bag valves that send the pressures to a gauge mounted inside the vehicle. An onboard compressor can also be added to eliminate manually pumping the air bags up or down.
