CLC Pro 3.5 meter machine running Dec. 1, 2011 at Long Acres Farms, Tionesta PA. Machine is demonstrating working in freshly harvested, heavy residue, wet corn stubble. CLC's and CTC 's (larger fold up machines) unlike most vertical tillage these machines completely remove compaction and level in one pass. At Long Acres Farms, we used to no-till, but cold soils, residue and uneven stands made us look for another solution. After seeing these work in Europe we not only purchased the machines, we got the dealership! At Long Acres we do not chop stalks, or perform fall tillage, we simply run these machines ONE PASS ahead of our planters.
