Bo1 Standard Qualifier Play-In with Mardu Drain, a removal-heavy control list capitalizing on the unique combination of Card Advantage and Burn provided by Ark of Hunger and Unholy Annex to try to grind out wins. (OVERALL RECORD SPOILERS AHEAD) 6 matches on video with an overall... 4-2* record! Ok, really a 3-2 run in the event (not bad!) with one extra bonus win at the end. I thought this was a pretty fun experiment, and the list looked pretty good when everything lined up. Unfortunately we ran into a couple spell-heavy matchups where our removal didn't look great and we lost. That's the nature of Bo1 I suppose!
