Tønsberg | Norway’s oldest town | Travel with Lou

Welcome to Norway’s oldest town, Tønsberg. A municipality in Vestfold in Vestfold og Telemark county, Southern Norway and located around 102 km south-southwest of Oslo. This town is an excellent to visit wherein a lot of events and activities all- year round such as the sailing event every summer where all Norwegian sailors (and also from other countries) gather and come to Tønsberg and stays for a week, boat race, food festivals, fun runs and many more. And I believe it is also Norway’s summer town. (Food festivals and visiting slottsfjell are some of my favorites) You can relax and fill your tummies with foods at the cozy bars and restaurants in the main street called «Brygga i Tønsberg». Museums has also a lot to offer like Slottsfjellmuseet and Hauger Vestfold Kunstmuseum to name a few.
