Can ChatGPT Catch Fish?
I asked ChatGPT when I should fish Busse Woods and what lures I should throw for bass. It gave me a plan: green pumpkin Texas rig, black and blue Texas rig, spinnerbait, and chatterbait. The problem? Busse Woods was way too weedy for most of the moving baits. After struggling with the spinnerbait and chatterbait, I went off script and threw a little black hollow body frog. That led to an awesome topwater strike right next to the kayak. But the real surprise came when I finally listened to ChatGPT and switched to a black and blue stick worm on a Texas rig. First cast. Fish on. Then a few minutes later, another one. This time, a 16.25 inch bass. So... can ChatGPT catch fish? At Busse Woods, it kind of did.
