John Deere 4640 - Cold Start and Drive

Interior and exterior view of a 1979 John Deere 4640 tractor tractor made for a customer prior to selling in the summer of 2018. It went to a gentleman in North Dakota. My father was the second owner of this tractor and had owned it since the mid 90's. This was primarily our grain cart tractor and used on the field cultivator and disk. It was an excellent, trouble-free tractor on our farm and it went to an excellent home. The new owner actually sent us photos of it on a silage chopper and I'm sure he will be happy with it for many years to come. The transmission is referred to as a quad range due to the A, B, C & D range with 4 gears per range. This tractor had 3 hydraulic outlets.
