Lamborghini Huracan vs Audi R8 | Are These V10 Supercars Any Different?

👋 Today we take a look at the Lamborghini Huracan alongside the Audi R8! Both of these examples cost about $185,000 and offer a lot of similarities. They both utilize the same basic platform and the same V10 engine with the 7 speed transmission. Styling is very different with the Lambo having that iconic wedge shape and sharp lines. The R8 is more rounded and looks a but bigger. Interior of each car is nicely appointed with leather and nice designs. The Lambo has lower windows and stiffer seats with more aggressive angles. The R8 is a bit more comfortable and has better visibility. Driving these two, you can tell they are the same car. Very similar feeling of power. The exhaust on the R8 did sound significantly better then the Huracan which made it seem a bit more fun then we remember. We like how the Huracan has a bit more drama to the shifting where it kicks you in the back a little bit. So overall if you like this platform but want a bit more comfortable interior, go for the R8. It was a ton of fun to drive and offered everything you need for a supercar. But it was nice to drive around town and great place to be. The Lamborghini is an acquired taste with it's low slung cockpit feel and more aggressive driving characteristic. So if you want a but more unique driving aspect and can sacrifice a little bit of comfort, the Huracan offers a slight improvement in driving dynamics.
