The abstract squeegee technique is an excellent way to switch off and calm down while painting. After the caramel-coloured background painting, which I create from three colours, I apply the first layer of paint in "turquoise green". In doing so, I use a squeegee tool built by my father to be able to paint areas on my square artwork. In contrast to the large paintings squeegeed by the German artist Gerhard Richter, my canvas (50 x 50 cm) is naturally small. Enjoy my video about the abstract squeegee technique!
