Adm. Charles Momsen invented more than the Momsen Lung and the Submarine Rescue Chamber. He contributed to a number of WWII submarine procedures and weaponry, and ultimately changed the entire shape of submarines. That last achievement took a little bit of slight of hand to accomplish though!
