Episode 1: Rise of Heroes — Part 1 Episode Synopsis When Emil, a young Guardian from the ruined future of 2099, is thrown back in time after a terrifying attack on the Miracle Box, he lands in Los Perrito City in the year 2026 with the box completely empty and the Rabbit Miraculous missing. Stranded in a world that has not yet fallen apart, Emil searches for answers and discovers that the Butterfly Miraculous is already in the hands of a dangerous new villain known only as Atlas. As Atlas sends out his first akuma, two unlikely teenagers are pulled into the chaos. Alice St. Clair, brave but unsure of herself, becomes LuckyBug, while Liam Parker, a reckless class clown with more heart than he lets on, becomes Cat Boy. Their first fight against Pigeon General is messy, loud, and far from perfect, but with Emil’s guidance, they manage to save the city. But the victory does not bring peace.
