Instead of relying on manual tracking, this automated data is more accurate 📈. So, let me show you how to do it on the Shopify dashboard. Hi guys, as you know, today's topic is how to implement Conversion API tracking through Shopify. 🛠️ So, let me show you how to do it step by step. As you can see, we are now on the Shopify backend dashboard. For implementing Conversion API through your Facebook account, the first thing you need to do is install an app called "Facebook & Instagram." 📱 As I've already installed the app, it's showing up here. If you don't have it installed, you need to go to the App section 🛠️, and let me show you how to find it. Scroll to the App section 🔍 and type "Facebook & Instagram." Once you click on it, you can install the app—it’s free, so no worries about costs 💸. After installation, head over to the app just like I’m doing now. Now, you need to connect your Facebook account. 📲 Make sure your Facebook ID is logged in on the same tab where you've logged into Shopify. Once you’re in the Settings section ⚙️, connect your Facebook account by clicking on the "Change" button, and the Facebook Pixel will automatically be implemented on your website 🌐. After successfully connecting, head over to your Facebook Ads account. 📊 As you can see, I've already created a campaign. Let me show you how it works. Click on the "Create" button ➕ and choose the "Sales" option. We need to create either a catalog sale or a simple conversion campaign. Click "Continue" ➡️, and in the manual setup, go to the Ad Set level. Choose "Website" as the option because we need to track conversions via the Conversion API. You'll notice that the Pixel created by Conversion API will show all the important events like "Initiate Checkout," "Purchase," and "Add to Wishlist." 🛒 This ensures that all events are tracked automatically in Facebook Ads, and you'll see the correct conversion value and data. Because we’ve connected Facebook with the Shopify backend, the data will seamlessly flow between the two platforms 🔄, letting us track exactly how many conversions we've received from Facebook Ads.
