This is the Sonic Origins Plus (SOP) version. Note that I may delay myself for the background music (BGM) to loop at least once so please use timestamps to bypass my "fun." | Zone (Stage) number: Sixth (Final) Zone: Scrap Brain Act: 3 | | Oh dear, Eggman got the better of us this time and sent us down here. This Act looks VERY similar to Labyrinth Zone but the background color is different. | From what I heard, this WAS supposed to be a different background but time constraints made that impossible so they reused Labyrinth Zone's background and changed the color. Reusing this background should strike some fear in some players having already experienced the fourth Zone's Acts. | This Act is the longest and most difficult stage in this game. The air bubbles do NOT spawn big bubbles the usual rate like Labyrinth Zone did making underwater sections a test of patience. You will hear the Drowning BGM more often here compared to Labyrinth Zone. | In the fourth Zone, you could skip past some air bubbles and still get a big bubble in time on the next set of air bubbles you come across when you start hearing the drowning BGM. THIS Act you do NOT have the luxury of doing that because that ensures you will drown due to how long the air bubbles can produce one big bubble! | Now I say that this is the longest and most difficult Act but that's only if you are taking the usual routes and do not know a certain route that negates this Act's dangerous and lengthy underwater sections. | At the start are two paths. The first path is taking the ruined platform down until it stops for the top path. This is the usual path. During this path has two routes and one of them makes this path even longer. I wanted to show this route for this playthrough. | The alternate path is getting in front of that ruined platform and making it down past it toward the bottom path before that platform blocks. THIS path makes this Act MUCH shorter bypassing many underwater sections. | Don't celebrate just yet because this path does have a couple routes that force you downward towards the usual path if you don't stay on the top correct route of this bottom path! Good luck! | Note that there is no Boss in this Act. There's a reason for that and you will get your answer once you get to the end of this Act. |-| [TIMESTAMPS] 00:00:00 SCRAP BRAIN ZONE - Scrap Brain Zone; Star Post (Checkpoint) 02:16 Scrap Brain Zone; 2nd Star Post 04:08 - End 05:00 |-| [GAME DETAILS] STH1 Developer: Sonic Team Publisher: SEGA Genre: Platform Release: 1991/7/26 System: Sega Mega Drive | [ADDITIONAL SYSTEMS] Sega Saturn, Dreamcast Nintendo Game Boy Advance, DS, 3DS (eshop) Nintendo GameCube, Wii Virtual Console Nintendo Switch, 2 (Switch Online) Sony PlayStation 2 PlayStation Portable PlayStation Network Microsoft Xbox, 360 Live Arcade PC Arcade Android, iOS devices Amazon Fire TV Apple TV | [AZL9S NOTES] Sonic’s very first game debut.
