Our regional broadcasting partner, RTV Seaport, in collaboration with the Velsen Welfare Foundation (SWV), is broadcasting a series of exercises for seniors in Velsen, Beverwijk, and Heemskerk on local television, especially during this time. But of course, young and old are welcome to join in and get moving! The gymnastics program airs daily, except Sundays, just after 11:00 AM on local television via the RTV Heemskerk channel (Ziggo channel 42 and channel 1466 KPN, among others) and the RTV Seaport channel (Ziggo channel 40). You can also follow it on the websites www.omroepheemskerk.nl and www.rtvseaport.nl. The program can also be viewed later on YouTube. The gymnastics program consists of eight lessons of approximately 20 minutes each. The gentle exercises can mostly be done sitting on a chair or next to a chair, so everyone can participate.
