In normal use, it felt just as comfortable as Rep Pepin. Personally, I found the knurling quite rough, which bothered me. It might be good for people who aren't good at knurling. Since training is all about strengthening your palms, I, who prefer a harder style with more intense knurling, found it lacking. lol Also, the precision of the gimmick is incredible with the Rep Pepin, so that's another difference. However, the overall length of the dumbbells is smaller than the Rep Pepin, so I felt like the heavier they were, the easier they were to handle. What really impressed me this time was the ease of use of the dumbbell stand! This dumbbell stand, customized to maximize the use of dumbbells with this mechanism, was extremely good.
