HOW WE MADE THE WOODEN MAILBOX FOR OUR INDUSTRIAL-STYLE LOFT From selecting the wood, cutting it, staining it, varnishing it, adding the hardware, and all the details that transform it into an industrial-style mailbox. The mailbox design was our own, conceived in a quick sketch on paper, focusing primarily on making it easy to drop a letter in and following minimalist lines. So, ideally, we should give it a name. How about "WOODPINNER MAILBOX"? It's possible to add "smart" features to the mailbox by inserting a sensor that detects when a letter is inside and notifies your phone. I think this would be a very practical and popular idea, so it's definitely a proposal worth considering. Just like when you receive an email, the mailbox notifies you that you have a letter... practical and functional. How many mailboxes do you know that discreetly notify you when they have something for you?
