With the expansion of Guntur Channel, irrigation will reach every farmer's field. I inspected the ongoing Guntur Channel expansion work in Kotha Mallayapalem village of Prathipadu mandal along with MLA B. Ramanjaneyulu. The Pattiseema Lift Irrigation Scheme, built with the vision of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has provided irrigation water to the farmers of Krishna Delta for the last ten years. The Guntur Channel expansion and modernization work is also moving forward keeping in mind the future of the farmers. After the completion of these projects, a total of 75 thousand acres will be irrigated in addition to the areas currently receiving irrigation water.
