A memorial service for the remains of seven veterans of Namibia’s liberation struggle was held on the eve of Heroes’ Day here on Monday. The mortal remains of seven heroes/heroines of the struggle were exhumed and repatriated from Angola and Zambia, and they will be laid to rest at Heroes’ Acre in Windhoek during the commemoration of Heroes’ Day on Tuesday, 26 August 2014.
