Trains at Hemel Hempstead (7th May 2024)

It’s Wednesday, the 7th of May, and I’m at Hemel Hempstead, situated on the West Coast mainline. This station is primarily served by London Northwestern Railway, with Southern (soon to be withdrawn) services operating during the morning and evenings. Due to strike action, no Southern services were operating on the day of filming. The route sees high volumes of freight traffic with an excellent variety of locomotives.
