The special was directed, conceptualized, and executed by Trent Reznor, Rob Sheridan, and Jeff Anderson. It contains footage from the "And All That Could Have Been" DVD release, as well as acoustic performances, and interviews. The segments are connected by interstitials filmed by Trent, Rob, and Jeff in New Orleans, with interview footage filmed specifically for this production. Everything was produced and edited entirely in-house at Nothing Studios, New Orleans.
