Showers are currently falling in various parts of the central inland region. While most showers are expected to stop overnight, they will continue until tomorrow morning in Gangwon-do and Gyeongbuk. The amount of rainfall will be quite substantial, reaching up to 80mm in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, while around 40 to 60mm is expected in various inland areas, including Seoul. Tomorrow afternoon, up to 20mm of rain is expected again in southern Gangwon, Chungbuk, and the Yeongnam region. The weather will be hot, particularly in the western regions. The daytime temperature in Seoul will reach 30 degrees Celsius, about 6 degrees higher than today. Conversely, the eastern regions affected by easterly winds will remain relatively cool, with Taebaek staying at 20 degrees. Some fog is expected in parts of the inland region until morning, and you should also be mindful of strong winds in the Gangwon area. As the sky gradually clears starting from the morning, ultraviolet (UV) radiation will be very strong nationwide, with some areas in the Honam region reaching the 'dangerous' level of the UV index. Morning temperatures will start at 18 degrees in Seoul and Daejeon, and 19 degrees in Daegu. Highs are expected to reach 30 degrees in Seoul and 29 degrees in Cheongju and Daegu during the day. Strong swells will continue to roll in over most seas for the time being. Waves will be very high in the South Seas, reaching a maximum of 4 meters.
