Hello everyone, welcome to a new video. Today I'm bringing you new information that came to light this month about Bogotá's TransMilenio system. The system's upcoming map, featuring the colors and lettering of the trunk lines along 68th Avenue, Cali Avenue, Soacha Avenue, and others, will be in effect from 2030 onward. The bus system map will change in the coming years. The new TransMilenio map includes four new routes that will extend the current routes and even connect with the two Bogotá Metro lines that are expected to be built by then. Currently, the system spans 117.7 kilometers and connects Bogotá from north to south, including part of Soacha. However, with the addition of 68th Avenue, the extension of the Autopista Sur (Southern Highway), Caracas Avenue, and Ciudad de Cali Avenue, including the San Cristóbal Cable Car, Bogotá's integrated transportation system will have an additional 34.5 kilometers. In addition to the above, future works on Carrera Séptima, Calle 13, and the Potosí Cable Car will add another 36.7 km. This brings the total to 188.9 km over the next decade.
