The complement of frequency 次 is usually used after the predicate verb, indicating the number of times that an action has taken place. The structure is:subject + verb + number + 次 + object 我们看过三次电影。Wǒ kànguò sān cì diànyǐng. We have seen the film three times. When the object of a verb is a place. The complement of frequency can be put either before or after the object. 我们去过三次中国。Wǒmen qù guò sān cì zhōngguó. We have been to China three times. 我们去过这个公园一次。Wǒmen qù guò zhègè gōngyuán yícì.
