TRAIL DES HAUTS FORTS | Trail Des Mines d'Or 23km mountain race from Morzine to Avoriaz. We thought we'd surprise you with an early race day video from our trip to Chamonix. There's actually a great story about how this race came about - just before leaving to go on our road trip to France, we received an email from a loyal follower and supporter of the channel asking if we'd be interested in taking on Trail des Hauts Forts as part of my training for TDS. We looked into the details he sent us and thought the race distance and elevation was perfect for my race preparation. We got back to him and said thanks very much for the information, the race looks great, we'll look into it - and later on that day we received an email from him saying that he had registered and paid for us to do the race, how cool is that!
