3-Trumpet Showdown: Adams A1v2, Edwards X13, and Thane Performance Series!

[Links in description] Time for another show-down! This time I'll compare the Edwards X13 and the Thane Performance Series to my "daily driver" Adams A1v2. Thane Performance Series: https://www.austincustombrass.biz/the... 1:55 Lyrical comparison 3:20 Bore size: The Thane and Adams are both ML bore horns, the Edwards has a slightly larger bore but due to the design it doesn't "play big." There's a lot that goes into how a horn feels to play aside from bore size! 4:10 Bebop comparison 5:11 Design characteristics: The Thane and the Adams are fairly similar, both have medium flared bells and have an overall classic design style. The Thane has the most traditional lines, the Adams has a more modern look in the tuning slide and bell bends, and the Edwards has a unique wide wrap that brings the bell closer to the player. All three play so well! 6:30 Pop comparison 7:30 Pricing: At the time of recording, the Adams is around $3200, the Thane is around $3500, and the Edwards is a smidge over $4300 (including the silver plating).
