DIY Earth Bath Bombs - Make bath bombs at home with a hand press mold
In this video, I will show you how to DIY an earth bath bomb. The effect is really eye-catching, but the technique is actually quite simple. This bath bomb is made using the recipe published by Holly at Missouri River Soap. She has published this recipe publicly on her channel (linked here / @moriversoap ) and is an excellent resource (and just kind of adorable and fun to watch and listen to!) I find her recipe to be really beginner-friendly, and I've had very little trouble with texture or moisture or bombs not sticking together, etc. Her recipe also doesn't have a ton of ingredients, which also leads to it being beginner friendly! Ingredients are listed below, followed by links for the items that I used specifically in my tutorial. 💥Ingredients and supply lists below contain affiliate links. If you make a purchase using one of these links, I may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. If you do, thank you in advance for your support of this channel. Amazon does not always have the best prices (in the video, I tell you where the best pricing is in my experience for each ingredient), but as Amazon is a popular and convenient source, I've included those links when possible as well. Recipe ingredients for Missouri River Soap bath bomb recipe: 1000g Baking Soda 500g Citric Acid 1 Tbls Distilled Water 1 Tbls Rubbing Alcohol 25g Buttermilk Powder (I have also used this recipe with coconut milk powder and goat milk powder, which both work fine) 50g SLSA (sodium lauryl sulfoacetate) OPTIONAL. If you omit it, just add 50g more baking soda. 10g lightweight carrier oil such as apricot seed oil, fractionated coconut oil, meadowfoam seed oil, rice bran oil. Some of these you will see in the grocery store, and in a pinch you can sunflower seed oil too. 8g Polysorbate 80 24g fragrance oil (check your manufacturer for skin safe levels, or eocalc.com if you choose an essential oil instead) Colorant to desired shade ✔Hand bath bomb press mold: https://cadamolds.com/products/bath-b...
