A Tool Tote with Kumiko / Japanese Okamochi style

I really wanted a tool tote so I made a Japanese Okamochi style tool tote with Kumiko. I usually store most of my tools in my garage and when doing woodworking, I bring my tools from the garage and keep them in a room I do woodworking until a project is over. Hopefully, this tote will be helpful in my situation. Oh, you can enjoy counting how many mistakes I made but just so you know I made more mistakes than ones shown in the video! -- Main Material Used: Daiso Paulownia Cutting Boards/Craft Boards 1/8" Basswood Scrap Mahogany -- Kumiko: How to Cut Kumiko Strips for Beginners    • How to Cut Kumiko Strips for Beginners - N...   How to make Kumiko for beginners with Hand Tools    • How to make Kumiko for beginners with Hand...   -- Paulownia Project: I made a sewing box    • First Paulownia Project - Toolbox | Woodwo...   ----- My tools (The most updated list): https://www.yrti.net/my-woodworking-t... -- Good Japanese woodworking books for learning https://www.yrti.net/learning-material/ Photo Gallery: https://www.yrti.net/woodworking/port... 0:00 Introduction 0:29 Preparation 1:10 Box Fabrications 3:09 Mistakes 4:33 Finishing a Drawer 5:12 Making a Sliding Door 6:12 Kumiko 7:10 Final Product #ToolTote #Okamochi #Kumiko
