How To Test And Repair A Vintage Music Man StingRay Preamp.
EDIT: In my next video I have another '78 'Ray. Also with dead active electronics. It turned out to be a very different problem. Coming soon... In this video, I repair the two-band preamp in a 1978 stingray. The volume pot had been replaced, and there were several other problems. I suspect the volume pot had gone crackly because the output coupling capacitor was faulty. It was great to get this bass up and playing again!
