Winches: Hydrolic versus Electric

I produced and filmed this video some years back. Winching, using a variety of off road winches and which one to use, has been a long winded debate that may carry on for time to come. It probably all depends on the off road enthusiast, and the kind of money that is available to spend. This video slants and favors Hydrolic winching, its not my particular personal view, however honestly i must admit that I do like PTO and Hydrolic winches, in my view they have immense pulling strength.Currently I am using an electric battery powered winch, because of the cost of a Hydrolic winch and the electric winch currently fits snugly into the bush bar of my Land Cruiser Please enjoy the video.
