Making Flat lapping plates 3
In this video we take a good look at the flatness of the lapping plates so far. Using the classic three plate method and no measuring tools we are able to create a flat plane of high quality with nothing more than some elbow grease. We use a Monochromatic light source and and optical flat to check the surface flatness of the laps. We also take a much closer look at the shop made spherometer and LVDT.
