Movement 1 "Magnificat anima mea" performed by Lux Aeterna Vocal Ensemble and Canting Singers
"Magnificat anima mea" is the first movement of a musical setting of the biblical canticle ππππππππππ‘ (Luke 1:39-56). This cantata was completed by John Rutter in 1990 and premiered in the same year at Carnegie Hall. Lux Aeterna Vocal Ensemble and Canting Singers collaborated to perform this piece under the baton of Agastya Rama Listya. The musicians involved in this performance were: Kaleb Yuseli (piano), Siswanto Tri Utomo (electone), Yohanes Ruswanto (flute), Angger Suprayogi (oboe), Reinhart Helbert Albrow Latunussa (synthesizer), Daniella Christy (synthesizer), Jeffri Kristianto and Cefy Putra Handika (percussions). The Christmas concert entitled π΄π ππππ π πππ πππππππ πππ π³πππ was held at Balairung Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana on December 7, 2024.
