Making Sushi Around the World in a Tiny Camper Van

We drove 34,000 km from Tokyo, Japan, to the western edge of Europe in a tiny camper van🌍 Along the way, a Japanese sushi chef traveled through Russia, Central Asia, Europe, and Africa, making sushi in 25 different places using local ingredients from each country. But this journey became about more than just the road. We met incredible people who welcomed us into their homes, shared meals with us, helped us through difficult moments, and became lifelong friends. To say thank you, I made sushi in the tiny kitchen of our camper van. Some people tried sushi for the very first time. Some were surprised by wasabi. And even without speaking the same language, we connected through food.
